She made up her mind way back in December 2019 and revealed her thoughts on an Instagram post at the time. '2020 is going to be the year of me,' she wrote. 'It's time to put myself first, stop taking on other people's sh*t, and be the badass sober women I was born to be.'

But the 85-pound weight loss result did not come without some hard work and commitment on her part. She strictly followed a diet plan and exercise routine over the last few months in order to burn off the extra calories in her body. And she stuck to the routine, without continuity and consistency, she would not have achieved such a significant weight drop.
Osbourne's diet plan is intermittent fasting with the food items consisting of plant-only items. Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that includes fixed periods of eating and non-eating. It's a diet plan gaining much popularity nowadays and comes with several health benefits, especially for those willing to lose weight.

Kelly Osbourne's been eating a vegetarian diet since 2012, which is why her kitchen is filled entirely with plant foods. 'I used to think being a vegan was boring,' she says. 'Now I have more fun with food now than I ever have before.'
'For me, what it's all about is finding that healthy moderation, which is easier said than done,' Kelly told The Beet. 'When you sat there in front of a plate of french fries, there is no moderation. So you have to realize if I'm going to eat this, I'm going to do an extra 15 minutes [of working out] ... just balance everything out.'
Kelly Osbourne also underwent an intense workout routine. She hired a trainer and did different activities to keep her body physically active. She did a series of squats, lunges, deadlifts, push-ups, dumbbell bicep curls, shoulder presses, and arm dips. Additionally, she also did swimming and jogging for an average of 20 minutes for cardio. Such an intense workout routine and plant-based intermittent fasting helped her drop her an incredible 85 pounds of weight.
