Jordin Sparks, who underwent a 50-pound weight loss, is currently married to her husband, Dana Isaiah. He is a Fitness model based in Los Angeles. In July 2017, Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah tied the knot in secret in Hawaii. The two have been together since then.

About Jordin and Isaiah's first time knowing each other, their mothers had arranged them to be together. Isaiah was introduced to Jordin's mother at an event by his mother. At the time, Isaiah was planning to move out to California to pursue his modeling career. But her mother was not happy with the idea. Their mothers put both of them in a group chat. In an article by People, he said:

My mom was trying to get [Jordin] to talk me out of moving to L.A. because she's experienced the industry out here. It wasn't like, 'We want you guys to date.'

The two immediately bonded, and both of their families shared the common Christian faith and family values, so they became pretty close. Jordin and Isaiah talked every day for a month before they actually met each other. After a month, Isaiah flew to L.A. for a meeting at a modeling agency, and in the city is where the lovebirds met for the first time over Easter weekend. Jordin describes her feeling after meeting her future husband to People:

A couple of days after we had actually met, I was like in my head 'That's going to be my husband! That's my husband right there.' When I'm with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren't things that I normally felt. So it was a little wake-up call for me.

After that, the couple chose to elope in spite of no family objections, with a small group of friends during a vacation in Hawaii. They revealed their wedding to their family members afterward. But the biggest reveal comes out to the couple themselves after about a month — Jordin finds out she was pregnant.

It was about five days after he moved to L.A. He comes in, and I go 'I'm pregnant.' It was such a shock for both of us. I turned around and started bawling in the closet. It's been really crazy because everything changes. Everything has been so crazy and fast-forward. Once we got over the initial shock of it, now again, just like it is with the marriage, to be able to share that this amazing thing is happening, it's such a great thing. We did this together!

Isaiah and Jordin went on to have a son, born on May 2, 2018, named Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr. The couple lives happily with their son in Los Angeles at present.

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo Did Not Have a Proper Breakup and Have Not Been Not in Good Terms

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo dated for three years before they ended their relationship in 2014. But the two did not clear up the things before splitting, and the breakup was immediate. The two even did not say goodbye. The night before they went apart forever, they had a small fight. But she'd apologized, and everything seemed fine.

But that was not the case afterward, as Jordin describes the breakup to Billboard, "He helped me with my bag to the car, he kissed me and told me he loved me, and then didn't call. Ever."

Jordin expressed her feeling toward her relationship with Jason:

What the relationship did teach me is what I like, what I don't like, what I'm willing to do, and what I'm not willing to do. I'll never know what was true, what was not.

But the breakup taught her something, something important. She shared her contemplation on the matter in a rather elaborate way, "The infatuation stage can be so exciting. Everything goes out of your head that you say you're going to do. And instead you kind of just dive in…which is great because when it comes to love, sometimes you have to do that; but my biggest lesson for myself is: I need to slow that process down. Let's get to know each other first, and then we'll decide if we want to dive in to make a commitment to one another or be boyfriend and girlfriend."

She shares the lessons she learned from the three years of experience with Jason and the separation. "And I have to take my biggest lessons and apply them now. I plan to go slower, and I'm going to have to talk myself through things like, 'Jordin, remember what you did last time…just take it slow.' Also, I've learned to really evaluate why I'm attracted to that person. Is it really because they are going to compliment me, not compliment like 'you look pretty,' but complement in the sense that is this person going to be like 'something came in, and I think it's a great opportunity for you' or 'I saw a book you would like to read' or 'I see you really enjoy charity work, how can I get involved too?' To be more grounded on different things than just being cute."

Well, the things did turn out to be good for her in the future, of course, as she met her 'the one' in Dana Isaiah. He's been the perfect husband to her in every way, and that is why the two are living the happy married life together with their son.

Jason Derulo, on the other hand, revealed his true feelings about his ex in 2016, as mentioned in an article:

Things could've been different had different choices been made from her side. I felt some kind of way because the world thought it was my fault, and I broke up with her. So they kind of f**ked with me only from that perspective. I was really disappointed in her and how she handled it because she made people believe that it was my fault. Like Wendy Williams asked her 'so we heard that he cheated, is that why you guys broke up?' and she says, 'No comment.' Like what the f**k you mean no comment?!

He expressed the statement after he posted a comment on one of Jordi's Instagram photos, and she wasn't thrilled about it.
